CHA has a long, proud history of providing good quality, affordable housing for people in housing need as well as delivering a range of beneficial and much needed community activities and services.  As a result of securing funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund for our community garden and cycling project, we are delighted to be seeking 2 reliable, highly motivated and resourceful people to deliver the project.

P/T Green Project Officer (Temporary, maximum 1 year)
EVH TAS Grade 4: Salary £22,241 (Pro rata)
21 Hours per week 

Responsibilities include overall project management including liaising closely with members of the community and the Community Gardener to ensure delivery of all strands of the project including cycling, gardening and healthy cooking sessions. The post holder will also be required to monitor and record progress on an ongoing basis to ensure successful achievement of outcomes per the funding application.

Applicants must have relevant experience of planning and co-ordination of a project and excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills.

P/T Community Gardener (Temporary, maximum 1 year)
EVH TAS Grade 3: Salary £17,336 (Pro rata)
14 Hours per week

Applications are welcome from individuals with excellent gardening, planning and communication skills to deliver the garden activities.  Previous participation and/or management of a community garden is essential and possession of a horticultural qualification would be desirable.
