Social Security Scotland
Social Security Scotland is a tenant at Centre81. They provide a 'Local Delivery Service'. What is the Local Delivery service?
Local Delivery service is made up of specially trained Client Support Advisers who are based within every local authority area in Scotland and will be available to help guide people through the benefit application process.
The service is available to people who live in every Local Authority area in Scotland. Clients can arrange to speak with a Client Support Adviser at a location and time that suits them. This includes:
- at a venue in their local community
- in a person’s home
- in a hospital or prison
- via video call
- telephone appointment

They accommodate any communication or accessibility arrangements to suit the needs of the client.
Although they can only provide support with Social Security Scotland benefits, they are focussed on providing a holistic service, and will signpost clients to fellow organisations, charities or groups in the Local Authority.
